ASI operate with these strict policies. Users, who alter any of the rules, will be warned a maximum of two times for any and all offenses in a two month period. Afterward, if the user's third warning arises, a temporary ban will be placed on the user for 1 to 14 days. Once this is lifted if the user receives one more warning then they will be banned PERIOD.
So, please read carefully and understand these rules.
1. You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned.
2. The administrators and moderators of this board will remove or edit any objectionable post/material as quickly as possible, it is impossible to review every message as it is posted however. Therefore you acknowledge that all posts made to these board express the views and opinions of the author and not the administrators or moderators (except for posts by these people) and hence we will not be held liable.
3. You agree that the administrators and moderators of this forum have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should they see fit. The IP address of all posts is recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.
4. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting any pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a instant ban.
5. Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning and possibly a ban.
6. Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed.
7. Members are asked to use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include; "Help me!", "I've been scammed!", etc. Example of a good title is : "I will like to sell a DVD player on ebay.", ".
8. Users posting just to increase their post counts will be warned. Users maintaining more than 1 account will be banned as this is not how a forum operates, if you feel the need to talk to yourself we recommend you seek professional help.
9. Spam is not tolerated here under any circumstance. This includes offering get rich schemes, phone cards, commercial postings of any kind, etc. Users posting spam will be warned and their post removed.
10. The moderating team reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
11. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system will lead to a warning (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging. Private messaging can be reviewed and will be reviewed if a complaint is filed.
12. Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, warez, and so forth.
13. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect decency, and so forth.
Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact the relevant moderator. If they feel you were treated badly they will remove the warning. If you feel their decision is also unfair you may contact an administrator. The administrator decision is final.
Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them. While we may consider lifting permanent bans from time to time this is a very rare occurrence.
